YEARS LATER: Two Years Ago “Bartier Cardi” Music Video Was Released

Almost two Years Ago Today, Cardi B released the “Bartier Cardi” Music Video featuring 21 Savage! It currently has over 71 MILLION views and over 765k likes on Youtube.

The video shows Cardi at her most fabulous and outrageous yet, donning all red, riding the hood of a Lyft car and name-checking her then fiancé, Migos’ Offset, who makes a late cameo in the video — just in time to join her for a make-out session in the backseat of a car. 21 Savage also makes a guest appearance, delivering a verse while being tied up in front of a wall of full static video screens.

The video also features paid promotion from Fashion Nova, which Cardi B is an ambassador for. Throughout the video, many Instagram influencers and models appear including Salem Mitchell, Widney Bazile, Ashourina Washington, Destiny Anderson, and Leanna. Numerous male models are seen standing like the Statue of David in white boxer briefs, among them include twins Austin & Alec Proeh.

It was nominated for the MTV Video Music Award for ‘Best Hip-Hop Video.’‬

Cardi B. Becomes the 10th Best Selling Female Digital Sales Artist of ALL TIME

As of today, Cardi is now the 10th best selling female digital sales artist of ALL TIME (30th overall).

She also ties Nicki Minaj as the highest certificated female rapper in digital sales in music HISTORY with 30.5 MILLION RIAA certified units.

  • Cardi B and Nicki Minaj both have the same amount of units certified where they are LEAD artists. No features included.

Along with this announcement, some of Cardi’s records has been updated today as well.

“Bartier Cardi” is now certified 3x PLATINUM in the US.

“Money” is now certified 3x PLATINUM in the US.

“Please Me” is now certified 2x PLATINUM in the US.

At this point, Cardi is now 7 MILLION RIAA units away from becoming the 10th highest certified female artist of ALL TIME. She currently has 53.5 MILLION RIAA certified units since her first certification 2 years ago.
