Cardi on why she wants to learn and try football:
“Since I have son, I want to be one of those sports moms that be all involved in the sports activities.”
Cardi & Megan take on everything on the football field from learning how to tackle, celebratory touchdown dances, and the 40-yard dash, which according to Gates, typically completed within four seconds.
“When I was in high school, I used to go to hooky parties and the cops used to bust the hooky parties a lot so I had to run a lot.”
Cardi feeling confident in her ability to deliver a quick dash.
Cardi did an interview with financial & business publication, “Business Insider,” and confirms that a new single, is coming “very, very soon.”
Cardi’s interview was more so about her hit mini Facebook series, “Cardi Tries,” where she disscusses some of her favorite episodes, including, “Cardi Tries Fishing,” that co-starred with good friend Keke Palmer, and one about firefighting that has yet to be aired.
Cardi, who descirbes herself as “a regular, degular, shmegular girl from the Bronx,” said the series has definietly given her a newfound appreciation for essential workers. The show has offered Cardi the benfit with her & her family of testing out activities that her kids might be into and try when they get older.
“For example. the ballerina episode, it’s like, my daughter wants to be a beautiful ballerina and I’d be wondering, ‘Girl, are you sure you’re going to like it?’ Because it’s very strict. And my daughter, she’s just a very fun person. So it is important for me to experience it, just so I can know what’s going on, to be ahead of the curve.”
Though, don’t be expecting her daughter Kulture to be making an appearance on the show any time soon. Mostly because, Cardi has said that her daughter is too stubborn to be trusted while on set.
“I know that once she starts getting tired or she’s just not interested in doing it, she just literally would stop doint it. It’s going to be like, ‘Oh, well. Here’s the next scene.’ She’ll be like, ‘Alright, I don’t want to do it. What you going to do about it?”
“Cardi Tries,” will also end up featuring other important guests that have been important in the rapper’s life, including, “Wild Side” collaborator, Normani & “WAP,” collaborator Megan Thee Stallion, who will join Cardi on a football episode that will feature the duo training with the NFL Football team, the Los Angeles Chargers.
Though, of course what you guys really came for is of course the status of new upcoming Cardi music. Well apparently, Cardi has been splitting time between doing “Cardi Tries,” on set & while going to studio, though she didn’t press much details about her much anticipated sophomore album.
“I’m not going to say album. I’m going to say the new single is going to be out very, very soon and you guys are going to love it! I gotta surpise you!”
