This weekend had marked the 1st Year Anniversary of Cardi B’s debut album, “Invasion of Privacy.” The rapper celebrated by tweeting out this over the weekend, “I AINT GOING TO WEAR NO PANTIES TODAY !!!!!” But now she’s got an even bigger reason to celebrate.
As of today, “Invasion of Privacy” has now been updated to be 3X Platinum!
“Invasion of Privacy” is now certified 3x PLATINUM in the US. It is the 2nd fastest female rap album in history to reach this certification. It now ties “Pink Friday” as the highest certified female rap album released this millennium.
“Woke up to the best news ever!!” she tweeted on Monday. “Crazy how on Saturday I was celebrating my album one year anniversary today I find out it’s certified 3X platinum!!!This makes me happy and brings me anxiety cause I gotta go maaaa hard for my next album. Im soooooo happy!!”

“Money” is now certified 2x PLATINUM in the US, becoming Cardi’s fastest solo song to do so since “Bodak Yellow” within 6 months. “Twerk” is now certified GOLD in the US. This becomes Cardi’s 20th & the City Girls’ 1st song to reach this milestone, and also “Please Me” is now certified GOLD in the US. The song is currently eligible for PLATINUM.
